Message from the Chapter President Welcome to Chapter 47, Delaware Valley Ramblers. We have members from all areas in Pennsylvania and we are close to Maryland and Delaware. We hope you will find fun and fellowship with our chapter. We have all age groups from all walks of life in our club. We have travel trailers, fifth wheels and motor homes. You will become familiar with people and activities that make our chapter special and you will always feel welcomed. Be sure to check out our schedule. I think the best part of what our chapter does is having fun! We share photos, stories of life’s adventures, games, crafts, great food, outings, campfires and other numerous activities. I know that life gets busy, but I personally hope you will make time to come to our next campout and hopefully join our chapter.

Chapter History The members of Chapter 47 are primarily from The purpose of the chapter is to provide year
round opportunities for members to enjoy friendship and fellowship with other
members, travel and explore new areas of our state and country, and provide an
example of good RV courtesy on the road. Members gather on scheduled weekends for
activities that include campfires, potluck dinners, games, meetings, area events
and the opportunity to share RV information and experiences.
Chapter 47 members are active in the national HRRVC rallies, caravans and
adventures. Members volunteer to help in many areas at these rallies. Several
members have trained and are now serving as Coordinators for future rallies.
Members provide support for many charities. In September, 2006 the chapter held a reunion
of current, former and emeritus members.
The forty-five plus members enjoyed a day of fun and fellowship.
.In
April, 2007 five members received pins and certificates for forty plus years of
membership in our club. Former

CHRISTMAS IN
Later, we were challenged about our knowledge of the local Amish population. Such questions as, “What vegetable other than potatoes is always served at an Amish Wedding?” and “How many dresses will an Amish woman own?” had us scratching our heads. This was followed by acknowledgement of the service and devotion of our out-going officers and the installation of our newly elected leaders: Clarissa Sherrow, president, Chuck Wasser, vice-president, Jim Bueche, treasurer and Kay Bueche, secretary. Looking forward to the coming year, the schedule starting
when our snowbirds return to the roost is pretty exciting.
We have 2 buddy rallies, 2 joint rallies with other chapters and some new
adventures planned. There’s always
room for more members and friends, so please check us out.

FALL, 2011
This adorable puppy was just part of
what was an absolutely wonderful HRRVC Int’l Rally.
With a very limited budget and a heroic effort to
hold down the costs of the rally fee, Jim and Deb Isett did an amazing job.
Replacing some of the very expensive professional
entertainment was a skit put on by our own Chapter 47 with the help of several
others from outside of our chapter.
WHAT A HOOT!
When was the last time you had such a hearty laugh?
New games and tournaments, interesting side trips,
delicious food and lots of volunteers made this a truly great event.
After our weary Delaware Valley Ramblers who made
their way back to PA, they made our annual trip to J&D Campground in Kay Bueche (98413) jimandkay@buechenet.com
